Chapter 15

Billy dropped into a chair. “The KGB spy bugged our house last night. I was checking to be sure he didn’t steal your formula.”

“For crying out loud, son, I told you I’m selling them the formula! Eat your breakfast and then start on your chores before I decide you need to be grounded.”

Margaret clouted her brother on the shoulder. “And just because he’s Russian doesn’t make him KGB, moron.”

“It is Soviet,” Nikoloz corrected. “And the boy is technically correct, although I am not spying. I tried to explain the surveillance equipment to him this morning.”

Dr. Yarborough set down his fork and glared at his son. “You were bothering Mr. Donauri this morning while he was trying to set up his equipment?”

“I had him under surveillance. I knew he would wait until after dark for his nefarious schemes.”

The doctor dropped his chin into his hand. “I apologize once more for my son’s overactive imagination. I hope he didn’t interfere too much.”
