Chapter 48

Larry almost thought he wouldn’t open his eyes again, just fall asleep right where he stood in the doorway. “Look, can I come in or something? Unless your roommate’s asleep, too.”

“What? No.” That seemed to wake him up a little, and Geoff stepped back to let Larry into his room. “He left late last night.”

“Left where?” Larry closed the door behind him and dropped his backpack in front of it.

Geoff yawned again, not bothering to hide it this time. Then he reached for the ceiling with a languid stretch that pulled his shirt up, exposing a swath of bare, pale skin above the waistband of his pants. Larry couldn’t look away from the arch of Geoff’s spine, or the blond hair leading from his navel down into his pants, a tantalizing trail leading right where Larry most wanted to go. But he stayed by the door—he needed to know where they stood before he moved any closer.
