He peered through the rear windows of each cabin, finally seeing what he needed. He eased the window open, pausing when the sleeping man stirred. The man turned over, snoring softly. Caiden was in and out in seconds, a pair of jeans in his hands. They were a size too large, but he wasn’t complaining. They covered the important parts and that’s what mattered.

Dressed, if minimally, he made his way to the hotel. He had to call Zander, but that required a phone, something he didn’t have. Again, luck was with him. He went into the dining room where a Continental breakfast was being served. Several guests were taking advantage of it, including one woman who, rather stupidly in Caiden’s opinion, had left her cell phone on the table. He walked past, picked it up and pocketed it, then grabbed a couple of sweet rolls before leaving the room, and the hotel.
