“This, my good men, is the answer which we are seeking. Those of you who believe that we have a historic role to play in this case are absolutely correct. We are at a turning point in British history. We are at a point where monsters like Reverend Leander Norris must be stopped and put in jail forever.”

There were murmurs of agreement, but also dissent.

“That statement is getting beyond the scope of our case, sir,” Juror Number Twelve said.

“The foreman is absolutely correct,” Juror Number Seven said. “If we don’t stop this now, it’s only going to get worse. These people are perverse. Are there any reports of abuse from the day nursery?”

“Gentlemen,” Juror Number Three spoke up, “you’re making generalizations in an attempt to sway the other jurors. I think we need to reexamine what this case is about and focus on that.”

“This man is a sodomite, no doubt,” Juror Number Four said.

“Yesterday, you were on the reverend’s side,” Three said.
