“Why the smile?” Armand asked.

“I was thinking that I’m not going anywhere until we figure out if this is the real thing between us.”

“Then you will, either way?” Armand replied with a wry grin.

“No, silly man. If it is real, I’m sticking around.”

“Nice to know. Because—” A rap on the door interrupted whatever Armand meant to say. “Come,” he called out.

“Mr. Gaines is being very insistent that he needs to talk with you again,” Paul said. “Rather loudly so.”

Armand sighed. “This could take a while,” he told Tino. “If you want to wait, our bar has a fine selection of wines.”

“I think I’ll pass. I’ll see you tomorrow night?” Tino tried not to smirk at the look of dismay on Paul’s face. He hoped it wasn’t because Paul had a thing for Armand. Well if he does, tough shit.

Since he was feeling elated at the way things seemed to be going between him and Armand, Tino decided to shock Paul even more. Catching Armand’s hand as he headed to the door, Tino kissed him quickly.
