Again, the building was older but well maintained. So, with Tino and Kingston’s agreement, Armand added it to their list. He told Mr. Lewallen they weren’t interested in the high rise, and that they would get back with him about the others. It was just after midnight at that point, so Armand thanked the realtor for showing them the buildings, then the three vampires returned to Armand’s house.

“So, which building, or buildings, do we want?” Armand asked once they were settled in his office.

“All of them,” Tino replied. “That would give us housing for thirty-nine singles in the one building, and fifty-nine units, mostly for families, between the other two. Not a bad start.”

“I agree,” Kingston said. “How much are we talking, Armand. Ballpark.”

Armand booted up the computer, then went to the realtor’s site. After bringing up the three buildings, he added up the selling prices. “Just over thirteen million, three hundred thousand.”

Tino whistled softly. “Can we swing it?”
