“Lead the way, oh fearless commander,” Kingston said, standing as well. “Seb, are you willing to come along?”

“Of course,” the Ancient vampire replied.

“Good. We’ll take my car, if that’s okay with both of you.”

Seb smiled. “Since I flew here, that would be fine.”

“And I came with Armand,” Tino added as they headed to the door.

“Before you leave,” Armand said, “At this point, Tino, you and Hardin have the only keys to the shelter.”

Tino dug his set from his pocket, tossing them to Armand, saying, “I’ll see you at daylight.”

::My place?::

Tino grinned. ::Your bed is more comfortable.::

::I wouldn’t know, since we haven’t tested yours,:: Armand replied wryly. ::Be damned careful, my love.::
