Chapter 24

“Not really,” Finn replied. “Three bedrooms, one of which I use as my office. Come on. I’ll give you the grand tour.”

Luke’s first thought was, If Finn’s got three bedrooms, and Jourdain said his place had three, how the hell big in Jourdain’s condo?

Once Finn unlocked the front door and disarmed the alarm box, they walked into a large room that took up most of the ground floor. The room had several large rugs designating sitting areas, with a stone fireplace at one end, while the dining area had a hardwood floor with an open kitchen beside it. Most of the rear wall was windows, looking out on a backyard that melded into a huge field with stands of trees separating them.

Finn set the bag of groceries on one of the kitchen counters at the same time that Luke heard the scrabble of claws on stairs. Tae dashed into the room, skidding to a stop in front of Finn, looking between him and the back door off the dining area.
