“I don’t remember seeing these names in the old file or in anything the others gave us.”

“We’ll have to track them down. See if they’ve got anything to say.” Kord rubbed a hand over his flat stomach.

“Anything she say make sense to you?” Doyle asked.

“One thing. That bouncer. Not so much that it made sense but he sounds an awful lot like Morgan’s brother. The goon whose house we were in when we arrested Morgan.”

“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. But I didn’t want to say it. I wanted to see if you came to the same conclusion.”

“Which means we’ve gotta talk to him.” Kord said.

“That’s another name that wasn’t in the file. So, tell me again how they didn’t flub this case on purpose.”

“Looks more and more like I was wrong. I just can’t figure out what their motive was. They just wanted to put the case away quietly hoping that no one cared enough to reopen it? Obviously that’s the case.”

“But why?”
