“Okay, I’m calling Jasper. This is bullshit. Remember Carol Cavanaugh? She supposedly did cross references between me, Stimmy, Rowdy, and Dillon? Well, that bitch is in this up to her eyeballs. I hacked into her network, and it seems she moved around files to make them look like they were connected. But if you look close enough, the dates are off. I went into my past few years’ dates of pickups, and some of them don’t jive.” He put his hand up. “And trust me, my dates are well recorded. My calendar coincides with my bank account when money was paid out for the pickups.” He tapped into a few more screens.


Van looked over Hunter’s shoulder, and a list on the screen looked almost like a family tree on one of the ancestry sites.


“It’s Stimmy’s mom.” Hunter sat for a moment in stunned disbelief. “Carol fucking Cavanaugh is Stimmy’s fucking mother. How the fuck did this get by anyone? Her fake searching was obviously to throw everyone off her trail and onto Dillon and Rowdy’s.” 12
