“If you need anything, please let me know,” Mr. Sinaran said before he stepped back into the hallway.
Dirk nodded mutely.
“Shut your mouth, you’re gawking,” Bay said with a laugh.
“Am not,” Dirk protested. But he had the feeling he was.
The first thing he saw in the large living room were the windows. They took up all of one wall and gave a spectacular view of the city and beyond. The room was decorated in shades of blue, from the midnight blue carpet to the pale blue walls. A navy blue suede sectional sofa faced a blue granite fireplace withbookshelves set into the wall above and to one side of it. On the facing wall, between two sliding glass doors, was a full entertainment center. One of the doors opened onto a dining room, which was done in shades of teal and green. The other was for a long hallway. Next to the dining room was an ultra-modern kitchen. The bedrooms were off the hallway. Both were large, with king-sized beds, modern dressers and shelves, and en suite bathrooms.
