“Excuse the interruption.” The principal always started announcements in the middle of class with those words. Admittedly a bit self-centered, Tucker feared he was being called to the office again. He’d spent half the period looking at Chad, thinking about how very long it had been since he’d touched him. That was a definite no-no. “A tornado watch has been issued for our municipality,” the principal said over the P.A. “All students must now return to their homeroom and await further instruction.” Some in the chorus room made fun. They were silly, giddy, laughing and joking about it all. Poor Chad, however, looked petrified.
