Frannie sighed, letting the knife rest, pausing in her wok to give him her full attention. Her eyes were the same shade as Molly’s, though Molly’s skin was a touch darker thanks to her father, may he rest in peace. “Look, Keston, this friendship you two have, I’ve had a number of people question it. Most want to know what a grown man is doing hanging out with a kid and there are nasty stories in the news…”
