Kaeva

Thunder rumbled, the dark cloud above Kaeva’s head split, and the rain began, at last, to fall. Kaeva heaved the axe one final time and cracked a piece of firewood in two. He slung the axe into the chopping stump, took off his gloves, and wiped his forehead. He tipped his chin upward. Rain sprinkled his face, and Kaeva sighed.

Eddie was a lot like a weather pattern. Sometimes soothing, sometimes pleasant, but occasionally a terrifying force of nature hell bent on changing landscapes, leveling mountains, destroying towns, and flooding fields. Weather meant change, and so did Eddie.
