Mason’s shriek was primal. “Christ, you’re freezing!”
“Use my fairy tale fantasy against me, hmm?”
“Get off,” Mason laughed, trying to shove the ice-cold and unyielding body off of him.
Jack shook his head and a shower of cold water followed. “You’ll pay for that, sir.”
With a roar Mason rose, his smaller body almost buckling under Jack’s weight, but still managing to get vertical enough to lift Jack along. Not even a second later he tumbled the both of them into the sand.
“Ugh, no,” Jack shouted. “Sticky!”
