Kenna started laughing uncontrollably. “Oh my God.”

Dakota had something more productive to say. “Really? Did that actually work? No offense, but that’s not exactly standard scientific or medical procedure.”

Throwing the fruit remnants away, Bahaar opened the fridge, selected an old glass bottle, and poured himself some milk. This, too, Kenna found utterly hilarious, but she managed to restrain herself. The vet looked over at them both and raised his eyebrows. “Why would I use anything standard on an animal that has never existed before?”
