Chapter 31

Chase shrugged. “Sure.”

Trevor winced at the blasé response. Had he come on too strong? Shit, was he coming on to Chase? Did Chase think that? Trevor had just wanted to hang out…He swallowed. “If you want. You don’t have to.” You can go socialize online with your old friends rather than with me, Trevor did not say bitterly.

Glancing to the side, Chase tilted his head and studied Trevor. His long black hair was a curtain behind his face, and his eyes were dark pools with only a hint of blue. It was so damn unfair that someone so beautiful and brilliant existed. Trevor was lucky to have him as a friend.

Fuck, what am I doing?

“I want to.” Chase’s words were soft, hell, intimate, and with the intensity of the gaze, a shiver rocked through Trevor’s body.

“Yeah? Cool.” Trevor winced. “You just didn’t seem excited.” He cleared his throat. “I didn’t want to hog all your time.”
