“Hey, you got a light?”
Dexter looked up at the pretty girl coming toward him. She dressed nicely. Jeans that fit snug around her long legs and a three-quarter sleeved shirt. She flashed a bright smile at him. He nodded and pulled out his lighter, holding it between cupped hands so she could light her smoke.
“Thank you.”
“No problem.”
She didn’t leave, though. Instead, she stood next to him to enjoy her cigarette.
“Hey, you’re in the band, right?”
Dexter grinned. Ran fingers through his curls. “Yup.”
“Dexter, right?”
“That’s me.” He propped an elbow against the wall. “Have you been to our shows before?”
She nodded. “A couple.”
