Chapter 69

“Good. You’re right that my life isn’t perfect. I want to make changes. I wish I didn’t need meds to get through my days. But some macho guy telling me what to do isn’t what I need.” Dustin doesn’t think Ronan wants any guy calling him Daddy. He might be a little bossy, but he doesn’t want to rule his partner’s life. Dustin is sure of that.

Before they can talk about it more, their food arrives and the subject changes. Dustin knows some people have boyfriends or husbands they call Daddy and it works for them, that Daddies aren’t always bad guys, but they just aren’t for Dustin, just like sub/Dom relationships work for some people, but they’re not Dustin’s thing.

Relationships have always been hard for Dustin, and he thinks he should warn Ronan. Because he likes Ronan, a lot. He wants things between them to last longer than a night, but he doesn’t know how to ask for that. He can’t just say he’s fucked up, but he’d like Ronan in his life, because what guy would want that?
