“No, he didn’t. He was just friendly.” Which is a real possibility, so Jayden isn’t really lying.
“He never took his eyes off of you,” Elijah persists.
“You’re seeing things.” Jayden snorts.
“It’s fine if you’re hot for the professor. We’ve all been there at some point. You’re young enough to have a schoolboy crush.” Elijah laughs.
“I do not have a crush on the professor,” Jayden says. He’d noticed Ricky was attractive, sure. He’s not blind. Jayden doesn’t have a crush on him, though. Probably won’t even give him a second thought after he leaves here. His head is full enough with thoughts of the two men he’s walking with now.
“Stop teasing Jayden. It’s not nice, Eli,” Chogan says, swatting Eli’s arm as they reach the campus parking lot.
“I’m used to it. He’s always an asshole.” Jayden smirks.
