“Elijah,” Joshua calls out, knocking again.
“Son of a bitch,” Chogan mutters.
Elijah peels himself off Chogan and heads for the door. “Coming, Dad,” Eli calls back.
Chogan gets up, trying to tell his dick that this isn’t the end of the world while he finds some clothes.
“Morning, Dad,” Eli says, opening the door.
“Morning, son. I wanted to see if you’re up. Jayden and I are going to breakfast. Do you and Chogan want to come with us? I was thinking we should all eat before tracking down Crazy Eddy. It seems like a good lead. Well done, Chogan,” Joshua says, looking past Eli to where Chogan is pulling jeans out of a bag. He needs to do laundry soon.
“Umm, yeah. Breakfast would be good. Just give us a bit to get ready. Quick showers. We won’t keep you waiting long,” Eli says.
“I’m going to drive. Might as well take one car. Just knock on my door when you’re ready,” Joshua says, and out of nowhere, Chogan feels a pang in his chest.
