Chogan tries not to think about that as they rush through washing, drying, and dressing. It’s hard not to think of it when they are outside Joshua’s room, knocking, knowing that Jayden is inside. Joshua answers, calling to Jayden when he sees it’s Eli and Chogan. They’re walking to Joshua’s car when Chogan notices Jayden breathing in deeply.


Jayden takes a breath, and straight away Chogan realizes Jayden is scenting the air. He looks between Eli and Chogan, and it’s only then Chogan remembers what Eli had said about Jayden’s sense of smell. He blushes slightly, because he can tell by the look on Jayden’s face that he knows what they’ve been up to.


As they all get into the car, Chogan tries to read Jayden’s face, but he can’t. He doesn’t look pissed off, but he doesn’t look happy, either.
