“Making Elijah jealous by kissing his lover?” Joshua says, raising an eyebrow.


“I wasn’t trying to make Elijah jealous—I’m a little worried he’s going to kill me for doing that. And it wasn’t even my fault! Chogan kissed me!”


“Then why on earth would you let Chogan kiss you? I know you said he kissed you. Be honest, Jayden. You could have stopped him. I didn’t walk in on you pushing him away. I’ve seen you put men on their ass if you didn’t want their attention,” Joshua points out.


“It was stupid. I don’t think I meant to let him, any more than I think he meant to kiss me.” Jayden sighs.


“You’re trying to tell me two grown men kissed by accident?” Joshua asks skeptically.


“No. I mean…It wasn’t an accident that we wanted to kiss, but I didn’t plan on acting on it. And I don’t think he did, either. He really cares about Elijah. I think he loves Elijah,” Jayden admits.


“Then why share a kiss with him?” Joshua asks.
