Marzanna told me they’re all on their way to the bridge now. Thank you.

Dion slowly opened his eyes and darted his eyes all over the room. He was in his bedroom at home. He couldn’t recall much of what had occurred earlier. All he remembered was the lightning and the insane amount of soil that burst high into the air. Then the soil landed on top of his chest, and for some unfathomable reason, he found it hard to breathe. The next thing he knew, he was back at home. He turned his head in the direction of the door when he heard someone entering the room. It was Galen.
“Hey,” Dion greeted.
At least he wanted to, but his voice sounded hoarse, and he discovered that it was difficult for him to enunciate the word properly. As a result, the word came out more like a “huh” instead. Galen took one glance at him before quickly running toward the bed and offering him a glass of water. He gulped down the precious liquid and smiled at Galen gratefully.
“Better now?” Galen asked.
