Chapter 51

“Don’t feel bad for those women,” Odon abruptly spoke up. “This is their punishments. They had released the demon into this world and caused many innocent people to die.”

Dion nodded at Odon. “Well, when you put it that way…”

He trailed off with a casual shrug before glancing in Galen’s direction. He walked toward Galen’s body and knelt next to it. He was heartbroken, but there was nothing he could do. However, the sadness was still overwhelming, and he cried for his dead lover once again. He couldn’t stop thinking about the short amount of time they got to spend together, and how happy they were together. Most importantly, he remembered fondly the love they had for each other. The tears landed right on top of Galen’s chest on the left side. Then he heard Odon gasping. He turned toward Odon in bewilderment.

“What?”

“Galen’s name disappeared.”

Dion was even more confused now. “I don’t get it.”
