“He’s not my boyfriend.” Josh bounced to his feet. Just the thought of seeing Gavin again gave him renewed energy. “I think he’s actually interested in you.”


Andrea pivoted to face him. “You think so?”


Even though he’d said it as a joke, the look on Andrea’s face brought Josh to an abrupt stop. He couldn’t bring himself to admit that seeing Gavin in the morning was the highlight of his day. Every chance to see him was almost enough to give Josh the ability to deal with the rest of his life, but that didn’t mean he was fooling himself into thinking there was anything between them.
