The demon corruption of Bryce let out a guttural laugh that transformed into a howl. Its teeth were elongating even as its face transformed. Josh threw himself at Lukar, because there was nothing left of Bryce now. The demon’s body writhed as it transformed. Gavin rushed to help Josh expose the demon’s neck for Andrea to decapitate.


With ease, Lukar threw them off. Even as the moon broke over the trees, a series of loud howls echoed through the night. Lukar let out another muddled howl that sounded less wolf and more beast. His wolf form had doubled in size. This was no regular werewolf, but something else that Josh had never seen before. Andrea was right. In eating human flesh, Bryce had let in the demon and surrendered his soul to its evil.
