For more than a year, Reggie Mitchell has been sitting at the end of the bar in the Sunset Club waiting for Mark Randall to see him as something other than a customer. He's been in love with Mark for close to two years, but Mark only sees him as a rich college kid trying to go slumming with a bartender. Inside his mind, Reggie jumped for joy.


Outside of being busy, the night was quiet. There were no incidents with the crowd. The line was orderly, neither Billy nor Jay showed their faces and after being super busy all evening, the crowd began to thin out at about one. By two-thirty they were ready to go home.


Jack came over to Reggie. “Don’t leave until Compton or I can follow you back. Another payday loan outfit was hit this afternoon in Long Branch, so the Long Branch police are being read in on the Billy situation.”


Mark finished cleaning his station. Jack, Reggie, Mark and Compton went out to their vehicles. Jack drove a Ford Taurus, the fleet car for the Ocean Township cops. Gray walked over to Mark


“I see there’s trouble. Is there anything I can do to help?”


Jack answered, pulling the mug shot of Billy out of his wallet. “Have you seen this man?”
