Chapter 110

The line he was waiting for never came. Apparently, Kyoko-san had wisely decided to leave it out. She only pretended to have given up power. That’s what it was. Tom Alan wouldn’t have said anything anyway. He pictured Milo doing it, though. He imagined Milo bursting through the door howling or growling—maybe both—his wild hair shaking, his tank shirt slipping, flashing his nipples and some chest hair as he shouted, “No, Skater Boy loves me, and I love him!”

That didn’t happen either. There was more talking, some ritualistic stuff Tom Alan felt horrible for mocking, and then, with a kiss, Erika and Tom Alan were pronounced man and wife.
