“Aren’t there others ways to see them at night?” Raferty asked.

“Well, yes, but I wanted some alone time with them, and I started to talking to the innkeeper, and he told me about how he would take me out there at night because it had stormed and all the events were cancelled.”

“So, was it incredible?” Seamus asked eagerly.

“Better than I ever could have imagined, and so was the innkeeper, but I’ll get to that in a few minutes. I didn’t sleep a wink. I just kind of laid there all night and watched the stars. You could feel the magic. It felt like they were swarming with energy,” Ian said.

“And that’s when you first felt this presence?” Susanna asked.

“Yes, when I was alone after the innkeeper had left. His name’s Khnurn, by the way,” Ian explained.

“That sounds a little familiar,” Raferty said.

“Yes, it does. Maybe in one of the family legends,” Susanna added. “Back to your story though, Ian.”

“So, this happened in the desert?” Seamus asked.
