Troy laughed. “Interesting thought. Use your powers reasonably.” He held up a hand to stall the question he knew was coming. “I don’t think it’s reasonable to stop Paul from passing gas. Although,” he wrinkled his nose, “maybe Paul should say no to baked beans the next time they’re on the menu.”

Everyone laughed, including Paul.

“But seriously,” Troy said, getting back into teacher mode, “you can’t suggest someone do something they wouldn’t reasonably do. However, it would be reasonable to dissuade someone from committing murder or whatever. You see what I’m saying?”

He got six nods of understanding.

“Hopefully seeing us will also act as a deterrent.”

“Cool,” Kevin said, flexing his biceps. “Nobody messes with Captain Kevman!” He let out a squawk of surprise when he rose a couple feet in the air.

Will smirked. “Sorry, Captain, just messing with you.” He remotely set Kevin back down then reached over to pat him on the head affectionately.
