Chapter 29

“When we have questions, I’m sure Clay will be glad to answer them. God only knows he’s got the experience. Damn,” Lou said when something else occurred to him. “The bank account.”

“We haven’t deposited the money from last night,” Rory pointed out, “except for the credit card transactions. I suppose, as Esteban Valencia, you can close that account and transfer the money to the Lou Hernandez one, once it’s open. Or better yet, open a new account in the business name. Details, details.” Rory sighed.

“We’ll get it all figured out,” Lou said, giving him a hug. “Right now, we need to get Kevin’s name on the books as an employee, and pay him his commission for the sale of his paintings.”

“Don’t forget Trev,” Kevin reminded him.

“Nope. Come on. I’ll cut you both checks before moving the account. Then…”

“Deal with everything else. We can do it. We’re smart men,” Rory said.

“Let’s hope.”
