Chapter 15

Raquel huffed.

“Is something wrong?” I asked, looking up from my textbook.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to disturb you. I was thinking about the remark you made at King Dorian and Queen Penny’s execution.”

“I was teasing you.”

She raised her hand at me. “No, no. I just need your advice.”

I closed my textbook since it was a safe bet I wouldn’t finish my reading before first period. “Okay. I don’t understand what for, but I’ll help if I can.”

“When did you realize you were first attracted to guys?” Raquel murmured.

To be honest, I had never given much thought to her question before. “I always knew I liked guys.”

“Okay.”

I wiggled an eyebrow. “Were you hoping for a different reaction?”

“No. It’s not that. I’m still attracted to guys, too even if I’ve checked out Princess Anastasia and other girls before.” Raquel gripped her necklace, twining the chain around her finger.

“Maybe you’re bisexual,” I said.
