Chapter 79

Olaf inched forward. “It was nice meeting Stefan.”

“I told him about you,” I said.

He seemed surprised by my statement and tucked his hands into his jeans pockets. “I hope you aren’t still mad at me?”

“You did not just ask that.”

“Yes, I did. Are you still upset about that?”

“You’re wasting my time.” I trekked out of the break room and through his shop without glancing at the various trinkets, objects, and potions on the shelves and inside the glass cases throughout the store.

I didn’t feel guilty for asking Olaf for help. It was the least he could do.

The fog vaporized after we landed in front of the shed a few moments later, only to be greeted by a dragon with purple and green scaly skin and as tall as twelve adult males.

Raquel reeled back. “Fantastic!”

“We have the two potions,” Stefan said, keeping what he probably felt was a safe distance from the creature.

“Do you think we’ll need both vials?” I asked.
