From Behind that Locked Door

Jack stared at him. “You’re sure about this?”


“Yeah.” Cillian kissed him quickly. He didn’t want to linger there too long, or else he might change his mind. He waved in Zoe’s direction. “Take care of them for me.”


She smiled with sadness in her expression. “Certainly.”


Rapunzel got on its motorcycle and motioned for him to join it. After some thought about how exactly he could sit and hold on, Cillian took a seat directly behind Rapunzel and gripped its back legs. “I love you,” he told them all.


Jack returned the sentiment, and, after some hesitation, Henri did the same. “Be careful!” said Jack.


With that, Rapunzel started the engine, turned the vehicle around, and took off down the street.
