“And that is that,” she said after she’d given them the results of the last session. “All I have to do now is go over my notes.”
“You can use one of the desks in our office,” Carlton said. “But there’s probably more room on the dining room table.”
“I can spread my paperwork out on the table,” she said.
Her husband yawned. “And I’m going to see about that nap.”
Carlton looked at Eric, Charles, and Philip. “I don’t know about you guys, but I can hear the pool calling.”
“Lead on,” Eric said.
Carlton led the way downstairs and out to the pool house. When Charles saw the push-button lock on the door, he said, “We’ve been talking about putting one of those entrance locks on our pool house, but just haven’t gotten around to it.”
“It comes in handy,” Carlton said. “Especially when you decide to go for a swim on the spur of the moment, and don’t want to run upstairs and retrieve a key.”
