Loyalty?

Samuel bid a proper farewell to his Russian superior and walked to the exit of the Afghanistan airport when a familiar face walked in front of him. Looking down as usual, Samuel first stared at the military boots of the man who had shown up to receive him. His gaze slowly went up, recognizing the Russian military uniform.

"Sir!" The man's cheerful and familiar voice made Samuel smile before he looked up at him.

"Mikhail!" Samuel exhaled in relief.

He wasn't going to be so lonely now that his favorite subordinate was accompanying him. Funny, how the Russian military and the US military had always been establishing joint camps ever since General Albert Rogers had passed away. The funniest part was Petrenko's statement regarding General Albert Rogers. It was very bland and mysterious, but Samuel could tell from the look in his eyes that he knew the internal corruption brewing inside the military.
