Now Chloe finally recognized them.

Chloe and Lisa had been good friends since high school.

But one day, Chloe accidentally heard some people were gossiping about her and Lisa in the ladies' room. Back then, Lisa's father's business was a small success.

"Have you heard that? Lisa Field, she looks so proud recently. What should she brag about? If it weren't for her begging for Chloe's favor, how could her father ever got such a huge order?"

Hearing this, Chloe walked out, glancing coldly at them, Marlene and Frieda.

Lisa woke up from the trance. She had been a little distracted since they met Marlene and Frieda.

Chloe shook her head and left with Lisa without looking back.

But they passed by, Marlene parted her lips.

"Lisa, how about you? Do you have a good memory?" Marlene whispered like a creepy ghost.

Pausing for a moment, Lisa steadied herself, her heart beating fast.

"Mind your own business, Marlene. Or you will be in trouble." Chloe noticed Lisa's change. She held her tightly and threatened Marlene coldly.

Chloe and Lisa had walked for a while and finally, Marlene and Frieda were out of sight.

At this moment, Chloe stopped and looked into Lisa straightly.

"Lisa, are you hiding something from me?"

Sensing that Chloe got a little angry, Lisa was getting nervous, murmuring, "Chloe, I..."

What happened on earth? Lisa was acting weird and clearly, she was hiding something serious from Chloe. But they were supposed to be each other's best friends!
