Corruption Hits Where It Hurts the Most (2)

Ileana ran without minding her surroundings. The scenery was the same as the other three-time. And like the other there time, this time also, she didn't have time to appreciate them. Her boots crushed the soft, lush grass, as half a dozen men chased after her. She shot fireballs at them, one after another, still escaping.

Balls of head-sized fire shot at the chasers, as a couple of them, managed to dodge while the others got affected, screaming in pain.  someone's face was burned, while others' clothing, Ileana had no time to take a note on that.

Seriously, with the limited amount of mana in her old body, it was damn hard for her to succeed in this nightmare, moreover, she couldn't summon Grey—her earth spirit companion here to help her. It would have been a lot easier if Grey was here. Hell, she might even free herself from the torment of this nightmare.
