(The tomb.)

Chapter four:

Ja-ni limped back to her room to nurse the wounds. After showering and some food she decided to meditate. Since the room was all to herself, she had no problem calming down and focusing. So much had happened in the week since she had been there, and Zyn told her she had one final trial, going after a weapon and killing a ancient beast. Supposedly, from what she was told, this beast was a Dark Lock, it suppressed the dark side energy on Korriban. She sighed and nodded to herself, she could do this. Ja-ni took nothing but her lower robes, a couple canisters of water, and some dry protein bars along with a vibroblade. She was promoted to the rank apprentice, but she still needed to prove herself worthy. She focused her frustration into power and trained on a dummy for several hours. She was ready. She took a speeder and jetted into the Valley of the Dark Lord's, where the tombs resided. She parked her speeder and hopped off, her boots sinking slightly in the soft sand. She pulled out her weapon and took a deep breath, then stepped into its ancient halls.

Ja-ni's senses were on high alert, winged mynocks and bull like tukatas inhabited the tombs, this would be no walk in the park. She continued down for a while fighting a few monsters that dared attacked her.

She found a stone door with stone statue's guarding it, Sith markings covering it. The statue's were so old and worn that it was impossible to tell they depicted Sith. She stood in front of the door and pushed with all her strength. No budge. She growled and used Force push. Nothing. She paced the hallway for several hours, trying different ways to push it open. And shot Force lightning at it, and it opened right up. Ja-ni facepalmed and sighed, then walked into the sanctum. The beast was on the massive end of the room, and it was massive. At least two stories tall, dirty blue, and bad giant spikes shooting from it's back and elbow's, as it walked on all fours. It's eyes glowed red, and it's yellow teeth were bared. It sniffled, then looked at the young Sith growling. Ja-ni looked up in amazement. She felt the Force pushing off the giant animal. She unsheathed her weapon and turned it on, the sharp, loud hiss echoing off the walls. The beast roared and growled. Ja-ni leaped out of the way and shocked it. The beast growled and swung it's sharp tail at her, and she dodged and jumped onto it. She dragged her blade along the tail all the way up to it's head. The beast roared in pain and swung around, trying to get Ja-ni off. She twirled her blade and rammed it into the beast's skull. It let out a deafening shriek. She pushed the blade deeper, then electrified it with Force lightning, and the beast fell dead. Immediately, the dark side energy poured from the wound, shooting up into the sky in a beacon shape.

Her holocron started beeping and she answered, it was Revan. Well done, my apprentice, I can see your handy work from here. Revan said, a tone of happiness in his voice. Our master's already feel the difference. Said Revan. Ja-ni nodded and did a half bow. There's nothing I can't kill. Replied Ja-ni. Revan chuckled. Now don't get ahead of yourself, go get your weapon. Said Revan.

My weapon? She thought, as she walked to the ancient casket. She pulled off the lid and tossed it aside, then peered in. Inside was a lightsaber, surprisingly well preserved. It was a long, cylinder shape with a thinned piece in the middle, possibly for modification purposes. Four elongated spikes shot from the bottom with a filth in the center, possibly for a secondary weapon purpose. She lifted the blade and ignited it, making a loud snap bliss followed by a low hum as she moved the double blades around. She smiled at her new weapon and deactivated it, then clipped it on her belt. She returned to her speeder bike and hopped on, then jetted towards the Academy.
