(The Council.)

Chapter five:

Year's passed since the tomb. Ja-ni's instructors were dumbfounded by how quickly she excelled in her training, and she became a weapon in the Empires arsenal. Darth Revan decided, however, to keep her as an apprentice. Ja-ni's frustration and anger fueled her to become better, pushing for perfection as the ultimate Sith warrior.

One day, Darth Revan called Ja-ni into his chambers on Dromund Kaas, capital of the Sith Empire, Ja-ni wore a simple Sith cloak and hood, with metal armor plates. She strolled over to the taxi speeder and gave the droid a credit chip, then they lifted off of the jungle world's floor and soared to the capital, Kaas city. Ja-ni looked out the window at the ancient jungle trees and wildlife. First time in the jungle, my Lord? The droid asked. Not, actually. She replied. Been here numerous times, just, most of the times I was fighting for my life among the beasts. The droid nodded and they continued in silence. Ja-ni looked at the blade in her hand and smiled faintly. She had been just a girl when she got it. Ja-ni Beastkiller they called her. The look of pride on her master's face, and the reward as a warrior to complete her mission, was all that mattered. They landed abruptly, shaking her out of her daydream, and she stepped out of the speeder and headed for the capital building, the Citadel. Ja-ni felt the dark side pool around her, making her stronger than usual.

She arrived at her master's chambers, she felt the Force strongest here out of anywhere else. She straightened her cloak and robe, then stepped into the antechamber. Darth Revan turned and looked at his apprentice with a faint smile. Ah, Ja-ni, thank you for coming, follow me. Said Darth Revan. They gripped each other's forearms as a greeting, then she stepped behind him as they walked down the hall. No matter how many times she visited the Citadel, she was always in awe of how much power one building had. Not just political and militaristic, but dark energy too. They went down to the elevator and Revan pressed the top button, the Council level. Fear shot Ja-ni's heart. Why would she be summoned to the Council? Was this about the pilot on Mandalore? It had been a accident... They stepped off the elevator into the hall, where they were met by a duo of Royal Guards, adorned in their red robe's and saberstaff. They kneeled before the two Sith and let them past to the Council chamber's.

Ja-ni was only thirteen when she was here first, and it was because she had accidentally killed a fellow acolyte in a practice session. It was a genuine accident, but she didn't regret it. She had been sent on a suicide mission as a form of punishment, yet she returned victories. This had initially spiked their interest in her. As they entered the center of the room, with a council member around them in a circle atop their seats, which looked closer to tower's. Revan kneeled down to them, followed by Ja-ni.

Warrior Ja-ni. Darth Marr, the chief council member declared. Because of your exemplary service to the Sith Empire, the order, and your master's, along with your unmatched strength among warriors, the council has decided unanimously to give you the title Lord of the Sith. Said Darth Marr. Ja-ni's heart skipped a beat at this. A Lord? At such a young age? Did Revan know about this. She peered over to her master. Stone faced as always. She looked up at her master's. Revans masked countenance looked back at her, and simply stated. Rise, Lord Ja-ni of the Sith. She did so, almost weak in the knees from excitement. She looked up at the Darths and bowed.

You will not regret this, my Lord's. Replied Ja-ni. Darth Ravage, another senior member, nodded, his cybernetics shifting slightly with his mouth. I assume not, young Lord. Now, we have a form of ritual rite of passage. Said Darth Ravage. Of course they did, always another test.

What may that be, Lord Ravage? Ja-ni asked him. Ravage's smile turned to a twisted smile. She could tell this was another suicide mission, probably a power play. You must go to the Dark Temple, and aquire a Sith Holocron in the Emperor's hall. Said Darth Ravage. The Darths mumured at this.

Ja-ni nodded. It shall be done. She said and bowed, then she turned around and left the room to prepare for the mission.
