Chapter 4: The Real Battle

*Snore*

Yu Tinayun slept soundly without a care in the world.

"Hmm... Yaawwwnnn!!!" He stood up stretching his arms.

He went outside to see the time as there was no window nor any clock in his room. He was still not a real disciple in the eyes of the sect.

But it shall soon be changed as he has already gotten a personal master which is even rare for the inner disciple to get. But core disciple has their own masters.

"It's nighttime huh..." He stood there looking at the stars.

"Hmm... I guess I should go now to complete this quest." Yu Tinayun who was already gotten used to the random quest notification walked towards the sect gate.

Sect gate is left unguarded which is quite careless but because the sect is low-rank so, they don't care much about security.

Yu Tinayun without care ran towards a huge forest that was 100 km far from the sect. He reached there in 10 minutes.

He walked inside the forest, ignoring the sign which was written on a board that was put near the forest.

'Watch out for monsters' That was written on the sign,

But Yu Tinayun didn't care and just ran inside as it was his house.

The forest, Yu TInayun entered was not a normal forest as its name was 'Hell Forest'. Hell Forest is the biggest forest of the Dragon Empire and the dangerous one too.

The forest is covered by four barriers to keep monsters from escaping. The barriers are put up by an unknown person that no one in the whole Dragon Empire knows.

The first barrier ring of the forest is called the Outer ring. In the outer ring, monsters from the 5th stage of Qi Refinement Realm to the 1st stage of Foundation Realm are found.

"Let's see.."

On the other hand, Yu TInayun was running around the forest without a care. He is already at the 10th stage of body refinement and with his skill, he is practically powerful than most of the monsters in the forest.

And he was also confident that he could escape from the foundation realm monster. After a while, he found many monsters from the 5th stage of qi refinement to the 9th stage.

Monsters aren't that unintelligent. They also form a group and live in packs to defend themselves. The pack of monsters contains different kinds of monsters. Like humans, they don't discriminate against each other and live in a harmony among groups which is usually managed by a leader.

But they are not that peaceful with other groups. Many groups of monsters fight with each other for food.

Roar!!

5 bulls monsters which size is bigger than a farming bull and its horn sharper than a knife step forwards.

5 small dog-type monsters which size was similar to the dogs but their claws were much sharper as it seemed it could cut anything, followed the bull monster.

And finally, a big tiger monster which size is much larger than previous monsters came forward. All the other monsters followed the monsters.

The tiger monster stared at Yu Tinayun and roared, and all other monsters that were at back charged at Yu Tinayun.

Yu Tinayun wielded the sword given by the elder and also charged at them.

Slive! Clank! Slice! Slice!

He killed 3 bull monsters immediately as their offense wasn't that good. Ther skin was still thick, taking some force to slice their head.

The dogs monsters charged at Yu TInayun at their full speed. But, Yu TInayun just moved his hands.

Clank! Clank!

The swords collide with the dog's claws. Yu Tinayun felt some numbness in his hands but he ignored it and charged at the dogs.

Because of his cultivation, his speed is much faster than the dogs. He immediately reached towards the dogs and catch them off guard.

Stab! Slice! Stab!

He immediately killed 5 dogs monster and killed the remaining two bull monsters. The fight ended early as it only took 2 to 3 minutes to kill all of the monsters.

[Ding! Killed 5 black dogs. Gained 1000 exp and 25 jade coins]

[Ding! Killed 5 Cretan bulls. Gained 750 exp and 30 jade coins.]

The boss monster on the back watched all of it with wide eyes. It frowned as it slammed its claws on the ground and charged at Yu Tinayun.

It swung its sharp claw at Yu Tinayun. Yu Tinayun dodged the attack and the beast cut down the tree that was beside Yu Tinayun.

Yu Tinayun jumped at the beast and swung his sword on its neck.

Clank!

But at the right moment, the beast blocked it with its claw.

Roar!

It shouted and again charged with its full speed. Yu Tinayun put his sword back and charged at the beast with his bare hands.

The beast swung its claw at Yu Tinayun but he dodged it by jumping and land on the beast's back and grab its neck with his full force/.

The beast resisted as it jumped around, hit the trees, and also tried to fall but Yu TInayun didn't let go and broke the beast's neck which resulted in the death of the monster.

[Ding! Killed saber tooth. Gained 1500 exp and 40 jade coins.]

Yu Tinayun sat on the ground and caught his breath.

Rumble! Rumble!

But suddenly, the ground started to shake. Yu Tinayun immediately stood and looked around to check what happened.

But he just stood. His body stiffened. His hands started to shake and his jaw dropped.

"W-why.. is that beast here..."
