After a night of partying and having fun, a young lady of about 18 is said to have been found dead at the dawn of the next day.
Endless investigations and interrogations began on friends and families who knew the deceased young lady and those who had an encounter with her.
After much effort put on by the detective handling the case, the family of the deceased lady decided to close the case.
But the question is;
      Who Killed Jane Hemsworth?

The Body

Carl drove to the school and parked in the space provided. They all got down and started walking silently. None of them had spoken a word to each other ever since they left the station. Not long after they had started walking, a car drove past them with speed and they all looked startled as they halted. The car parked and the door flung open. Vivian and her friends alighted, all laughing hysterically. 


Carl’s face reddened almost immediately and he started heading towards her, Chloe and Bella trailing behind. 


“VIVIAN!” Carl yelled her name angrily. 


Vivian looked towards his direction and immediately whispered something to her friends. They all burst into laughter at once and that made Carl more furious. 


“It’s funny to you huh? You can laugh all you want.” 


“You definitely dropped something in the drink last night. What was it?” 


“Oh, I’m guessing you all loved my little special party.” She smirked and her friends laughed. 


“They still don’t know what it is guys. Should I open up?” she turned to her friends. 


“Yes Vivi. Tell them what it is,” her friends urged. 


Vivian looked at Carl and then at Chloe and Bella before speaking again. 


“It’s R.E.F.N.O.R, Refnor,” she spelt it out and a smirk appeared on her face. 


“You added refnor to an already alcoholic drink?” Chloe said angrily and Bella busted into action. 


She sauntered forward towards Vivian and gave her a heavy blow in the face. 


Her friends all gasped at once and went to save her from the angry Bella but it was already late as Bella gave her another one which made her mouth bleed. 


Vivian staggered backwards, covering her bleeding mouth and her friends went to support her, preventing her from falling. Some students already gathered at the scene. 


“Are you happy now?” Bella yelled at her. 


“If only you had not damaged his car tyre,” she pointed to Carl. “If only you had not drop that fucking pill, then all these wouldn’t have happened. She would have been here and everything would be normal. But she’s gone already.” Bella spoke with tears in her eyes before walking away from the scene with Chloe. 


“What is she talking about?” Vivian asked with a look of concern. 


“Don’t put on that face and pretend like you don’t know what is happening. Now, someone is being held responsible for what he is clearly not guilty of. It would be my pleasure to have you taste what it is like to be where he is right now.” Carl gave her one last look and left the scene. 


“Bella wait! Bella!” Chloe ran after Bella into the locker room and Bella immediately locked herself and started crying heavily. 


“Bella what’s wrong? Please, open the door,” Chloe pleaded. 


“Go away Chloe, just go,” she said amidst her sobs. 


“Why should I? I can’t leave you. Please, come out.” 


“I still can’t believe she’s gone. She left us already and Dylan is…Gosh! Who could have done this? I don’t want to believe that Dylan did it but who could it be?” 


Chloe sighed and sat down, leaning on the door. 


“I don’t know, Bella. It’s hard for all of us to believe too. Remember the detective said they couldn’t find a body in the scene, just blood. So definitely, it’s not Dylan.” 


“Don’t worry. Everything’s going to be fine.” Chloe consoled. 


“Yeah. Everything’s going to be fine.” Bella repeated after her and the door clicked open. 


Chloe looked up at Bella and immediately stood up and gave her a hug.
