The Right Time
(Valerie's POV)
[Valerie is sitting motionlessly staring at her phone screen as mixed emotions are rushing through her veins.]
At last, without even paying much effort I'll be able to know who this person is. Mom, I think soon I'll be able to clear your name and also will be able to uncover the truth behind your death.
[Valerie stares at her phone screen again and starts typing...]
"When, how, and where can we meet? Please let me know as soon as you see this message."
[She sends the message and receives a reply within few minutes.]
"Don't be so excited. You have first figure out how you will get out of there without being suspected."
"You don't have to think about that. Just like how I escaped two years back, I can escape again."
"No! Don't do that! You have to stay close to Bryce always to accomplish our plans. Think about an effective way where you don't have to plan your escape."
"Okay."
"Inform me when you are ready to get out of there, I'll let you know further about our meeting time and location only then."
[Valerie puts down her phone and stands up.]
I have to go and find Bryce. I don't know how but convincing him to let me go out is the only thing I need to do now. How should I approach him? What story should I make?

(Bryce's POV)
(Moring, at the breakfast table)
When she comes down for the breakfast today I've to ask her what she is actually up to. What her plans are. I just can't let her run around wildly doing whatever she likes.
[While Bryce is busy with the thoughts of confronting Valerie, she comes down and joins him at the breakfast table.]
"Good morning!... By the way, last night, I felt really sorry for ruining your party like that."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean how I ruined your wine table... it was really unintentional."
Really V? What do you think I am? A dimwit or what? I can see through you perfectly yet you want me to feign ignorance on what you did.
"It was really fun watching you act like that in front of everyone. So, you don't have to say sorry."
I'm not in a good mood right now so, playing mind games with you is not something I want to do. What cute schemes you are playing I need to know.
"V, aren't you keeping too many secrets between us?"
"I don't think so."
"Then why are you being so busy with your phone these days? I'm really curious about that."
"I don't think that's true. I have been doing well, alone. You have already gotten rid of my only family so, I don't think you need to be concerned, over me having someone else to lean on."
You are really testing my patience, aren't you? Just because I love you doesn't mean I'll let you scheme however you want with that little brain of yours.
[Bryce looks at Valerie straight into her eyes and chuckles.]
"In the last few days, you are showing really new sides of yourself. I didn't know that you can talk nonsense this well. If you have gotten back your memories then you should remember who killed Freya West!"
"Bryce! I have no strength left, nor mentally neither physically. I just don't want to argue over the same thing again and again."
"Really?!"
"I told you remember, when the right time comes we will see who did what! I'll make sure of that!!"
Why do you have to act so serious over nothing, V? It's already been years yet you are stuck with that old incident. Even after that we were getting along well but why this useless righteousness had to ruin everything between us?! The relationship we had was fun and thrilling, but nowadays this is becoming monotonous, you all the time being suspicious of me is really making me bored. And above all you have started to get in touch with some sneaky rat.
"Okay, do as you please but don't forget your limits. Always stay out of my business. Otherwise you know what will happen to you."
[Finishing his sentence Bryce gets up from his chair leaves with a sinister smile on his face.]
(Few minutes later, in Bryce's room)
[Bryce is standing in front of a big window in his room. He is holding his phone in his hand. ]
Valerie Hart, don't get too involved into this play. I am not having much fun in this game anymore. Be aware of whatever you do, one single wrong descision you make will lead you to your end.
(Ring~ ring~)
"Any news Liesel?"
"Yes boss. I've tracked down the source from where the video and the photos leaked. I think you need to come here because those were not the only information which leaked."
"Really?! Good job! I'll be at the factory by 11."
"Okay boss I'll take care of everything till then."
"Hmm, see you at night."
I knew it! It's really hard for anyone to compete against Leisel's networks. His underworld connections are even stronger than some big kingpins. Whoever you are, thinking you can bring down the whole Simpleton Crop with your measly evidences was the foolishest thought you have had in your whole life time.
[Bryce starts to laugh and starts to get ready for his night venture.]

[That person is sitting on a bench with their head a bit dropped, as if they have already suspected some upcoming danger.]
Huh! I really underestimated Bryce Carter! Even after knowing what he did to mom, even after planning out everything for this long time.....
"UGH!"
[Their frustrated scream was loud enough to startle few passerby.]
I know big wars need some sacrifices but it was too early to sacrifice that source. I should have collected all the possible information about that drug. They won't be able to track me down through him but still I have to be extra careful now!
This situation is making me think twice about should I ask Valerie to join hands with me or not...
