Will James allow Nina to go to the village?

"He is a Moon Child!"

"So, do you think that they can't fall in love?"

James was deadpanned as it was something he never thought. Would keeping Ace beside Nina bring unnecessary trouble to the family? He searched for various people that he could ask for help, but none were better than Ace. Asking Jennie to look after Nina such that all the men in the village maintain a proper and respectfully distance with Nina, was the only option left. However, he disliked the idea of putting Nina in a house of two guys. Shifting her to an individual and separate house seemed like a perfect solution, but her protection would have to be compromised in that case, which was highly essential. "Nina can't enter Chandragram until the next Alpha wakes."

"It's your wish!" Uttering that, he cut the call. Knowing that anyone bounding with her would only bring trouble, he wished her to stay away from the villagers. He smiled cunningly, raising one eyebrow and corner of the lip. Moreover, the view of Nina was itself like a reminder that something would happen to him, which probably might be death. She always made him think of every possible way that he could die or become physically unfit. The absence of her in the village itself was the best moment in that week.

Travelling back, he could help but think about Czar about how he might live after his death. On reaching the village, he made a straight and cruel face. "Czar, you don't have to owe that Luna girl."

"Why?" he asked with confusion as to the father he knew never left an option to wield authority and make his family the powerful one.

"It doesn't work in the reverse order...Ah!! Leave it!! You won't understand with the little brain you have." he murmured, walking inside the house. "Moon Goddess balances everything, she gave me the highest position in the pack, but with a brainless and useless son," he thought to himself.

'Does my father mean that loving or marrying her doesn't ensure you to become an Alpha? Did he know that before? So, how was the person who conveyed his valuable information?

Was it James or anyone from the Moonchild clan that has become a secret agent for my father? Should I inform Ace about this? Didn't he go to the city to visit James to know about the Alpha and Luna? Was it Ace who planned, so that no one would try flirting with Nina with the Alpha seat in mind? Whatever, I should discuss with Ace when he comes back.'

Meanwhile, James, who had a talk with the werewolf leader a while ago, was completely disturbed by the thought that his nephews may get attracted to Nina, which could raise numerous fights and accusations between the people supporting Alpha and the Moon Clan. Although most of the pack supported the Alpha, a few elder werewolves believed that the Moon Goddess' children were stronger. The eldest ones always assumed that the children of the first Alpha, who was blessed with the Moon Goddess herself, held a power larger than the Alpha, which was replaced every century. Even though the thoughts of the old wolves were correct, he at the particular point couldn't effort to start an unnecessary fight.

After going through the pros and cons of every idea that struck him, he suddenly uttered, "I should go with her or she should go," to no one particular in his office room.

Bringing out the phone from his shirt's pocket, he contacted Ace, "Good Morning, son!"

"Morning, Uncle!"

"Both of you, meet me now!"

Ace's long fingers clenched over his phone with fear of what else his uncle was going to plant on them. "Why...Why....what happened?" he asked, trembling.

Noticing a small hitch in his voice, James assured that it wasn't anything major, which of course he lied as he felt Ace's behaviour and tone odd. Usually, Ace was a person who would obey elders words without any questions. Moreover, he was leaving the city should he be happy to visit his uncle.

"Goddess, bless as such that no havoc will destroy the hundred centuries peace among the pack."

The pack was called a 'pack' for a reason. The unity of the wolves isn't visible among any other animals. Even if a single werewolf is in trouble, the whole pack fights in order to protect their kind. In a generation where even a blood-related person couldn't be trusted, the wolves tend to be the standard of truth and togetherness; this was one of the reasons that the elders' insisted on following the traditions and believes of wolves rather than ungrateful humans.

After a few minutes, Ace and Nina arrived at the office entrance after retrieving the pictures and purchasing a new mobile.

"What else does he have to tell?"

Ace shrugged his shoulders as he also wasn't aware. "I think he just wants to pay a visit before leaving."

"Visit!!! After what he had done to me." Nina muttered, rolling her eyes.

Ace smiled, watching her uninterested and displeased expression. "It's fine! You don't have to talk to him." Ace remarked, patting her hair, which was left open with a cute butterfly clip holding a few strands on the right side.

Reaching Mr.Cook's office, Nina entered the office and sat down, crossing her legs before he had asked them to take their seats. Ace chuckled but immediately pursed his lips, not allowing the sound to come out.

James looked at her furiously with wide eyes but controlled his anger, grinding his teeth. Observing the change in his eyes and tightening of the jaw, Ace instantly took control of the situation by distracting, "Uncle, why did you call us?"

Abruptly James' gaze shifted on Ace with eye colour flickering between dark grey and gold. Nina's mouth fell down, observing the changing in the eye balls' shade. "Did I act too much?" she thought to herself. Moving all the ten wet and trembling fingers over each other, she gulped and whispered, "Sorry!"

Realizing his stay, James immediately shut his eyes. Ace looked at Nina, whose body from head to toe was shivering to a great extent.
