Chapter 6

Apollo

Apollo held onto Tori's hand, guiding her into the cafe. This was his favorite cafe, he loved everything about it Tori loved it too, she's the one who showed it to him in the first place. He let her sit down first before he sat down at the opposite side of the table. She smiled hopelessly in love, which made Apollo smile back.

"So, tell me. Why exactly did you come home so late last night?" She asked, which only made Apollo smile more. He was so excited to tell her what happened, even if that means lying about a couple of things. Just telling someone means it happened.

"Well, the Kitty Gang struck that night. Turned a cute little corner store into ruins. We still don't know what happened." She frowned at the words 'Kitty Gang'. Apollo knew how she felt about them. "It's terrible what they do to the city. They make a cute place like Kumamoto into a dangerous one." He hums, nodding his head. He didn't agree with her, but he didn't disagree.

"Well, I and some other cops went there. And we got their leader. He didn't say much, but at least we know what he looks like." Her eyes widened with happiness. She clapped her hands softly. "Really! I know you were working so hard to find him, what happened? What did he say to you?"

Apollo shrugged cooly. "Nothing too interesting. We asked for his name, and we didn't get one. He is a sarcastic person. But we made some agreements." Tori smiled. She grabbed his hand, shaking it. "I can't believe you did that, that's amazing! I'm so proud of you!"

A waitress walked up to them with a notepad. "Welcome to Cafe Delight, what would you like?" Tori looked at the menu, before finding something. "Can I have a Magic Island Latte, but instead of two percent can I get almond milk?" She nodded with a smile. She turned to Apollo, "And for you sir." He looked at the drinks. "Can I get the Love Shot please?" She nodded, writing their orders down.

"So, Magic Island Latte with almond milk, and a Love Shot, that's it?" She said, reading off of the pad before looking at them. Apollo nodded. "Yep, thank you." She smiled, waved softly before heading back to the kitchen. Apollo looked back at his wife happily. "I am not just going to talk about me. What did you and the girls do yesterday?"

Tori smiled softly. "Well, we went to the mall. Betsy saw that handsome man, I think she fell in love again. She couldn't talk to him though, she was just too shy!" Apollo raised an eyebrow. "Betsy? Shy? Wow, never saw that coming." He chuckles softly.

Tori nodded. "Yep, I and Marice had to go up to him. But he said he was taken." Apollo frowned. "That must have broken Betsy. She was always known to fall in love quicker than anyone before her." Tori nodded. "It did, super sad." "Did he have a name?" She shook her head.

"Nope. He wouldn't tell us, But he said if we ever see him again, just call him G." Apollo hummed. He looked up, noticed the waitress came back with both of their drinks. He smiled again. "She'll be fine, she always gets back up stronger." He said, watching as she placed the hot drinks on the table. However, a certain blur caught his eye.

Someone was getting drinks. He couldn't see who it was, but he noticed something. Pink hair with the roots black, organized in just the right way in which it looked messy, yet still perfect. Black leather bomber jacket, with pink crystals on the edge, and pale skin. Was that-

"Hun, whatcha looking at?" Tori asked, causing Apollo's eyes to go back to her. "Oh uh, nothing." He mumbled. He looked back up at the counter, only to see no pink hair. He heard the glass door ding, and looked over, seeing a boy with pink hair and a mask, walk out with two drinks. There was a second of eye contact, but a second was enough for Apollo. The eyes, crystal white, with flushed skin all around them.

It was KG1.

"Baby, are you ok?" Tori asked, gaining Apollo's attention once more. "You seem so out of it? What were you looking at?" She asked, trying to get eye contact with him, but Apollo was still in his head. KG1 had a mask on, a black one, and had two coffee's in hand. Why would he need coffee? It wasn't his business. One kiss shouldn't mean anything to him, it should mean absolutely nothing. Yet he felt this betrayal in the pit of his stomach.
