Chapter 14

Atid took Sanun to his parents’ house in the evening before the holiday so they can have dinner and sleepover. Until then things were going fine but now, Sanun completely ignored him and went inside the house with unknown girl, as Sanun called her *Aom*.

Mom Rak is looking up and down, holding the hands of a beautiful girl sitting beside her. She seems quite amused to reunite with that girl,

“Aom gets really pretty. Well, she was quite charming since young.”

Atid feels rather uneasy at the dining table. He thought of things happened since the girl waved and left into the house even before he could get off from the car but now conversation about her goes on and his mind is on foul mood. The worst is that person... he is smiling and nodding while listening about her.

Aom said goodbye to them after having dinner as she has somewhere to attend, they are all left at coffee table and enjoying desserts.

Rak turn to look at Sanun as she wants to remind something,

“Oh dear, did you introduce Atid to her?”

Mom Rak also turns to ask Atid so Atid has to fix his frowning face back to normal.

Atid politely yet sarcastic touched words replied,

“She already left when I got off from the car.”

Rak smile and ask her son,

“So Sanun, did you tell her about your marriage? Mom couldn't have a chance to tell her so she might not know about it?”

Sanun shook his head hurriedly,

“Please don't tell her!”

Sanun replied in a bit high tone so I feel fires spark in my heart.

**oh he did not want to tell her? ** Atid sourly thought,

Rak frown and question her son,

“Why?”

Sanun assure his mom and lower his head, said in low voice,

“I will tell her in person when I see her again. I am afraid she might get mad I didn't tell her when I got married.”

**So you will see her again? ** Atid unconsciously feels jealous to that unknown girl,

I didn't aware how I look at him in which kind of expression but Sanun peek at me like he is hiding something and lowers his head. The desserts time is going on with the conversation from the Mom Rak's talk on other stuff.

As soon as they got back to their house,

Atid asks in harsh tone,

“Who is she?”

Sanun confusedly confirm his question,

“Hmmm, who?”

Atid snorted and told again,

“Don't play dumb. The one you have to run and greet from the running car even before it stops.”

I feel quite surprising to myself that I couldn't wait any longer to know about them naturally but goes directly to ask Sanun. Though I don't want to show my annoyed face so I hide my face towards the wardrobe, pretending to search the clothes, but now because of his dumb play, I have to turn around and shout at him.

Sanun nonchalantly replied,

“Aww…that's my childhood friend.”

Atid made face and follow his words,

“Just childhood friend?”

Seeing Sanun's annoyed face puts my heart on fire. He feels annoyed because of me?

Sanun frown and told him off for his face,

“What do you want to say Phi?

“Oh, I am just asking what is happening between you two.”

Sanun calmly explained,

“She is just my childhood friend. She left to Canada since in middle school. Now we can see again.”

Atid smirks at his words,

“So you feel so happy?”

Sanun mocks himself and annoying answer,

“Yes, I feel so happy that I might dance.”

Atid prepared to continue asking but Sanun goes into the bathroom in stomping manner.

*Why don't you want to tell her that you are married?* that question I wanted to ask him goes down and just sink in the throat.

Unhappiness and dissatisfaction interferes the sleep with bad dreams at night.

Seeing Aom again is a total surprise, happiness and other un-identifiable feelings mixed up in the heart. Linking with that emotion consequently bring the other person's dissatisfaction and ill-treat on him. He clearly feels about that.

Sanun lay out the breakfast for Atid,

“Phi, I prepared burger and latte for you.”

Atid shook his head, cross his legs at dining table,

“I don't want to eat them. I want to eat rice and curry today so cook for me right away.”

Even though he prepared breakfast for him, coming back from restaurant once again and he is throwing tantrum while reading newspaper. I feel so angry.

Sanun sighed,

“I am busy. I even came home just to make breakfast for you in person.”

Atid sneer,

“Why bother now? You looked like you will take care of my lunch and dinner in the past.”

Sanun notices that he is just making up excuses to annoy him, so he gave in and cook rice and soup that he likes.

Atid came up with nasty comments on what he cooked for him,

“Oh, the soup is salty and the rice is watery.”

Sanun tried to taste again,

“I have tasted and it is okay.”

Atid pushes away the dishes,

“I am telling because it is not good. Make it again. I cannot eat it.”

Sanun feels disgrace being told like this. During his career life as he is a known chef. But he knows that Atid is in foul mood due to yesterday incident so he put himself in really most patient mood and cook for him again till he likes and manage things and get back to restaurant after this.
