Crash landing

I had finally gotten past the edge of the snowstorm and was coming up on the city called mantle when my ship ran out of gas and started plummeting towards the ground at high speeds.

'Fuck me'

I crashed into the nearby forest uprooting and snapping trees as my ship skidded across the ground then finally came to a stop at the edge of a cliff-hanging half off.

'That was close' I comment as I extend some tentacles out the back thruster and latch onto the trees pulling the ship up. I was planning on heading right for mantle and just taking over but now that my ship crashed I'm not so sure that's a good idea, I mean it would be too boring to just kill them all.

'What next' I wonder

'Oh I know' I start spreading out BioPollen at a fixed rate of 20 ounces every 1-minute interval until I finally sense something.

Most of the area is just trees and grim which don't add to my biomass so I tend to ignore them because they also ignore me, it's like a mutual relationship we both strive to kill all humans so why be enemies.

'A small village' I finally ping

'It will do for now'

I start eating away at the bullhead's insides as it constricts and contorts getting smaller and smaller until I have eaten away at all of it.

I decide to take a human form this time going in because I want to spread chaos instead of just mindless slaughter, but what to chose.

I could do an adult

Naahh to boring

Then a child?

Nah, not it either

Oh I know, I'll go in as an exotic animal of some sorts or maybe a mythical creature like a hobbit, or a fairy, or maybe even a giant attack on titan style.

So many choices

Oh my Pollen picked up a group of humans closing in on my location better chose fast. Too bad I was having fun trying to decide what to pick.

I saw a small dead wolf pup and got an idea

-Later-

So I decided to pretty much use the dead pup as a host, but I made some slight modifications to its body, I used DNA alteration to make this host flame-resistant as well as being able to produce flames from anyplace in its body. I also increased the density of all its bones and skin, just for an extra kick, I also made the ears long and gave them feathers so I could fly with them.

Pretty cool if I do say so myself.

It's really too bad I can't use DNA alteration on myself to make me fire resistant but hey at least I can make my hosts.

I trot around in my new form just getting a feel for the body because of all the creatures I have used as skin suits all of them were bipedal so it's a little awkward but I'm a genius so I get the hang of it rather quickly.

I walk to the edge of the cliff and gather a large amount of air into my lungs then breathe outwards. Bright orange flames spew out of my mouth and into the distance, satisfied I then leap off the cliff and use my large ears as wings to zoom around the sky.

I fly down the cliff and dive into the trees pulling up right before hitting the ground and bursting forward at high speeds. Everything in my path gets incinerated by the sheer intensity of my flames as I weave through the trees speeding towards the village.

Once a building is within eyesight, I slow down and my flames die out as land on the ground, I then start walking towards the village at a steady pace, the snow melts with each step I take so I fold my ear wings back so they look like they are apart of my body and continue forward.

I make it to the edge of the forest where a small rural village lies, I head in passing by the people who give me strange looks, mostly gossip and "Awws" I pay it no mind as I inspect my new hunting grounds, its small but seems like a tight-knit community, and surprisingly the faunus aren't treated as slaves here but rather as equals and work together with their human counterparts.

I can see farmers and fields and blacksmiths with the sound of metal clanging against metal occasionally, as well as a seamstress weaving new clothes for some kids who are watching intently with stars in their eyes as she masterfully knits them a scarf.

The smell of food enters my nose and I'm attracted to it and it leads me to an open area with lots of stalls around selling food, and even more, people just going about their daily lives and whatnot.

A couple of children run past me chasing a ball, and one trips and falls face-first into the dirt, his mother comes up from behind and reprimands him for dirtying his apparently new shirt, I let out what equates to a chuckle in dog tongue and the kid looks up and notices me, his curiosity peaked, he reaches out to touch me.

'You brat'

*Squelch*

His headless body falls to the ground as I gulp down his skull, the place goes silent as I realize what I just did, and all I have to say is.

'Shit'
