Immediate Evolution

I tried to 'look' around for a bit, only to see some extremely hazy shapes off in the distance. They were very clearly rocks of some kind. It was at that moment that I knew what I was seeing was real and not a dream. I had really been reincarnated into the world of Tensura as a Slime.

The first thing I attempted was to sense my surroundings with magic. Being unable to move like I did as a human was already an inconvenience, but being unable to see wasn't something I was willing to put up with any longer.

I stopped, concentrating on my surroundings. I tried to feel the magic power I knew was all around me. After a few moments, suddenly the fog seemed to clear and I was able to perceive the world again, only this time, something wasn't right.

'Oy! Why is everything look like I'm in an anime? I'm pretty sure I didn't wish for that?' I thought out loud to no one.

[Answer...] I jumped a bit at just how loud [Great Sage] was. I guess without the ability to hear anything in this quiet cave, the moment someone said anything at all, it almost sounded like they were shouting.

[[Magic Perception] allows one to see, hear, and smell the world around them by reading the magicules in the air. It is likely the worlds of anime look like anime, even to the characters inside it.]

'I see...' I thought was a part of my slime body created a sweat-drop shape.

'Oh wait! I should have the body of a human man around here right?' I thought as I searched around for a bit. About ten meters behind me, on a bed of Hipokute Grass, I saw it.

The moment I did, however, I was blown away. 'I knew I asked for a guy's body, but why is it still a trap!' I yelled to myself.

[Answer. It is not. The body is just young with long hair. It is still male]

'That's not what I meant!' I yelled at [Great Sage] before defeatedly crawling over to it.

[Would you like to consume the body with Unique Skill [Predator]?]

[Yes/No]

'Obviously yes.' I thought before opening my slime body up and lunging at the trap- I mean, the young boy with long hair's body and consuming it in only a moment.

[Analysis Complete!]

[Swordsmanship Arts obtained]

'I see, but what's with the Swordsmanship arts?' I thought.

[Answer. It appears that the body used was that of a renowned swordsman. The memories from swordsman life had been transferred over to your body as sword arts.]

'Oh. I see, I guess the ROB knew I was going to be a swordsman then. Omniscience for the win!' I thought before mimicking the body.

I grew to around the height of 153 cm (5ft). I noticed immediately that my movement was sharper though my senses were slightly dulled. Of course, I was also completely naked, but since I was alone, I didn't mind. I looked at my long blue hair that fell over my shoulder for a bit before walking over to a small pond in the cave.

"Yup. Definitely a trap." I said as I admired myself. Of course, my dragon was still formidable, but that didn't change my overall physique.

'Hmm. Great Sage. Is it possible for me to change my hair color to another color? I like blue as much as the next guy, but I'd prefer to have a more... formidable color.' I thought to myself.

[Answer. It is not possible due to your current race being a slime.]

'I see. Then could we change my race then?'

[Answer. It is possible, through the use of a Skill to evolve to a higher race.]

'I see. I'll leave that to you then. If possible, let's make my hair black- no wait. Make it silver. I'm in an anime world now. Might as well follow some troupes.' I thought while turning back into my slime form.

[Acknowledged. Unique Skill [Evolver] has been created. Utilizing the evolution process to transform from the species Slime into the Unique Species; Celestial Slime.]

'Wait what? I thought I'd be a demon sli-' I started before immediately falling unconscious.

I'm not too sure how long I was unconscious for, but I feel like it was several weeks. How do I know that it was several weeks? Well because my now silvery slime body was covered in dust and there were a few roots from the nearby Hipokute Herbs that reached into me and used my body for nourishment. They started absorbing my excess energy from my aura and evolved into ambrosia flowers.

I didn't know plants could evolve too, but that was beside the point. I felt like scolding [Great Sage] for not warning me I would fall into an evolutionary slumber for so long but decided against it. For one thing, I could tell just how big of an evolution I had gotten when my race instantly became Celestial Slime and one of my intrinsic skills was [Magicule Breeder Reactor]. The other reason I didn't was that I had told it to evolve me, though I figured it would be a simple evolution like when Diablo evolved from Arch Demon to Demon Peer and didn't fall asleep.

After pondering this for a while, I suppressed my gigantic aura and began wandering the cave looking for Veldora. Of course, it would be odd if he didn't already sense me, given that he had sensed Rimuru in canon despite him being a nameless slime at the time.

I purposefully moved around in my slime body this time, as I wanted to get used to it, gobbling up every speck of magic ore and the Hipokute Herbs. I made sure to evolve the Hipokute Herbs into Ambrosia Flowers utilizing [Evolver] passively before creating various different potions out of them.

Full potions which completely restored health were child's play, so I tried to go even further beyond the Full Potion, utilizing the Ambrosia in combination with [Evolver] and became probably the first person in the world to achieve it. I created Elixir.

Elixirs, in addition to restoring one's physical body like a full potion, would also restore the spiritual body. Additionally, unlike potions, elixirs could be used by someone like Hinata whose constitution made any magic outside of the Holy Magic spectrum instantly inert, would still be healed fully by it. Theoretically, it could even be used on Shizue after Ifrit was yanked out of her. The reason she died, after all, was her spiritual body being damaged when Ifrit broke free, as she was otherwise perfectly healthy after being cured.

I tried to use [Evolver] on Magic Ore too, as I wanted to see if the Orichalcum or Mithril metals could possibly be made without alloying them with gold or silver, but unfortunately, all I got out of it was a bit of Hihi'irokane. Granted, that stuff was hundreds of times better than magisteel and better than both Orichalcum and Mithril combined, but it also wasn't something I could just casually give out to my subordinates to make armor out of. Just the basketball-sized amount I had experimented on earlier would easily start a world war and was worth more in money than an entire nation's economy.

I briefly thought about making Tempest's future standard currency out of it just to troll the other nations but decided against it as it would be too much of a pain in the ass to constantly have to worry about human merchants coming into Tempest only to exchange currency and make a quick buck without actually selling us anything.

I did, however, decide to use it to create my own set of equipment as well as the weapons and armor of my future executives.

I was so focused on that that I didn't realize I had walked past Veldora and was walking further into the cave while he was shouting stuff like "Hey! Come back here! Don't leave me alone!"
