A muddy battle

Previously, Akira failed to save two warriors and blamed himself for not saving them in the first place. The one who was behind this was a Mikadzuki, who was assumed to be a user of mud magic or earth magic. The Mikadzuki was capable of creating the whole ground into their graves as he had killed two warriors by trapping them beneath the earth.

Akira was snapped because of what he had witnessed again. Akira had already failed once to save the knights in the kingdom back then. He would often act selfishly, which was what he noticed in himself. Akira gripped his scythe very hard with every bit of anger he had.

The Mikadzuki gave a grin because of the feeling he felt from Akira. It wasn't so much a bloodlust, rather, he was pissed off by what he knew. This was when he knew Akira hadn't killed a human before. Anger blinded him, and he was still able to control himself from reaching further down the murderous path.

"Wasn't what I was expecting. That stare of yours is just odd." The Mikadzuki commented on Akira's eyes. He knew for a moment that Akira was going to slice him in half, but he remained calm with no intention of killing.

"Shut up! I won't forgive you!" As Akira rushed forward, he went straight to attack. Akira moved his scythe above him and then struck him down.

He then used his magic against Akira before it hit him. He manipulated the whole ground into giant limbs. He created 4 limbs on the ground and engaged while Akira was in mid-air. Akira sliced one of them but failed as the second hit him. He was then tossed by the force of its muddy limbs. It had a slimy structure but was hard and sturdy like the ground itself.

The five warriors rushed to help him by using a mana slash on the man. He created a wall afterward and engaged the five with  his mud-shaped limbs to keep them busy. However, it wasn't much of a deal for them as they easily cut down the whole thing. The Mikadzuki was  impressed and thought they were just a useless bunch. One of the warriors launched a water slash because water types were effective against earth types. The man turned himself into mud. He charged forward by being under the ground. The water-type warrior impaled the ground with his sword by coating it with his water magic. It didn't work, and he backed away.

When the Mikadzuki appeared, he began multiplying himself and attacking him as the clones gathered.

The warriors engaged and were stopped by his clones as well. They sliced and diced, but it didn't work as it just went through. The water-type warrior was an exception.

As all of them were kept busy, Akira moved on and focused on both the Mikadzuki and the limbs he created. Akira placed his awareness on the Mikadzuki's powers. As the ground formed into a muddy texture, Akira quickly jumped before it made him stuck.

The limbs approached him, and Akira sliced them all. The limbs were chopped off, and they multiplied as the ground created more. Akira swiftly reacted by placing his scythe under his feet to create a platform for him to jump.

After he had jumped, he grabbed his scythe again and went straight to the man. Akira let out his blood magic-coated scythe and swung it right in front of Mikadzuki.

The Mikadzuki's maneuverability was quick and slippery, and because he was mud himself, he avoided all of Akira's attacks. As the fight was getting longer, it surprised him. He was unbelievably fast in swinging the heavy scythe; it hit him but didn't bruise him thanks to his muddy body.

Akira was coated with his mud soon after, and he struggled to move as the mud slowed his movements and the texture was so thick that it suffocated him.

"Facing danger without hesitating for your life? You're dumber than I thought you were. Now, die! " Not long after, Yeru arrived to save Akira as he was trying to suffocate Akira. He sliced the whole mud and teleported him to a safe place.

Yeru had done the same with the rest of the warriors that were troubled by the man's clones. He had eliminated them with ease, and it took him just three seconds. Yeru aimed his blade at the Mikadzuki and told Akira to stand back and let Yeru handle this.

Yeru had an ability that was called "Space Slash." He could erase the magic and just go straight to the user's body. Hence, he used space magic. His main ability was teleportation, but it didn't mean that he had just that. This was because of "skills".

Skills and main abilities were both different, as main abilities showed their main magic or unique magic, but not regular magic or enhancement. On the other hand, skills showed simple things such as weapon summoning, enhancements, and other elements that fit the title of their main ability.

Like Akira, his main ability was immortality, but his skills were different. But, if it were like Julia's, then it was just average main ability, nothing special. This was also why she had "Water magic: water cannon" in her skills instead of freely controlling her water manipulation, this was a common theory in Celesta.

Akira then followed Yeru's orders and went on to the Jade of Alamycs to stop the other Mikadzuki.

Akira and the five warriors continued to pursue the other Mikadzuki as Yeru took the fight all alone.

"Big guts of fighting alone, kid." The Mikadzuki was impressed by how he managed to free Akira and fight all alone with him.

Yeru didn't say one word and just sprinted at the Mikadzuki.

[MUD MAGIC: MUD RIVER FLOOD]

The Mikadzuki cast a giant mud flood at Yeru. Yeru teleported above and threw his blade directly at the Mikadzuki. The blade went through, and Yeru teleported and grabbed the blade right before it fell to the ground.

"He's quick!" The Mikadzuki reacted in surprise and finally found out that he was teleporting rather than having immense speed.

Yeru, who was behind him, spun himself and tried to slice him down. The man avoided it by transforming himself into mud to avoid his attack. Yeru was then stuck as his feet were drowned in mud. Yeru teleported once more and went behind him again. This time, he was reaching for his head. It hit, but it only scarred a wound on his right cheek.

The man was shocked that he was able to hit him even in his mud form. He touched his right cheek and it was painted red as the blood ran down his right cheek. He  was flabbergasted and was in disbelief. Yeru eventually aimed his blade and threw it right at him. The man was angered and made the whole ground shake. The whole place was moving like waves. Yeru's balance was interrupted, but he remained calm.

The Mikadzuki showed himself again in the form of a mud giant. Yeru looked up with a straight face as it was five times larger than his height of 175cm. The mud giant showed itself as a human. It had no teeth, no eyes, or a nose. Its form had a thick load of mud that even a whole human could be sucked whole.

Yeru exhaled some air and walked casually as he was in a calm state. In his mind, he imagined the whole mud creature as a human being inside of a giant robot. He measured it and found its weakness. Yeru pushed through, and he sliced the mud monster in half. The whole mud he had created  dropped and came back to normal. The Mikadzuki's eyes were clear white with no pupils. His chest had a large wound from Yeru's slash, and he was eventually defeated.

"Hmph, yar weaker than just yar words." Yeru stabbed the man and killed the  Mikadzuki.
